Event Execution Team

As students of the Hart School at James Madison University, we have chosen to bring this event to JMU's campus for our Senior Seminar. We are beyond excited to bring our event to life and create an enjoyable environment for guests to safely experience this classic American game show with a twist. We are honored for you to share this endeavor with us as we implement all that we have learned during our time here at JMU!

Olivia Sigler

Director of Entertainment

Meet junior Hart School Student from Glen Allen, Virginia, Olivia Sigler. She is ecstatic to be a part of this execution team for her senior seminar project. Her past experiences have been focused in wedding planning. She loves to see events come to fruition. On campus she is the Special Events Director for the University Program Board and Events Director for Kappa Alpha Theta. Also, she is involved with PCMA and the honor society Eta Sigma Delta. She is so excited to bring one of her favorite shows to life!

Ryan Woody

Director of Finances and Purchasing

From Mclean VA, meet Ryan Woody!  Being a senior in the Hart School, Ryan is beyond thrilled to be executing “Family Feud Night” for his senior seminar class.  This past summer he was a Food & Beverage intern at Washington Golf & Country Club located in Arlington, VA.  There he gained hands on experience in club banquets, events, golf tournaments, and accounting.  Last semester he was selected to showcase JMU’s CMAA student chapter at the Hart School’s largest annual fundraiser, Le Gourmet.  Woody currently sits as a student ambassador for the Hart School and is Secretary for CMAA.  Most notably, he was a recipient for the 2022 NCCMA Student Scholarship Award.  He is looking forward to executing a successful event with the skills he’s learned!

Kristen Poggi

Director of Social Media and Decor

From Long Valley NJ, meet Kristen Poggi! As a Junior in the Hart School, Kristen is thrilled to help bring this amazing event to JMU's campus for the surrounding community to come together and enjoy. Recently, she completed a Front Office and Operations internship with Panther Lake Camping Resort in Andover, NJ. In this position, she learned a lot about leadership, customer service, problem solving, and events. She is also involved in University Program Board, where she assists in planning and executing events for students on campus through the Special Events Committee. Additionally, Kristen is Outreach Co-chair with an emphasis on membership for Eta Sigma Delta, the Hospitality Management Honor Society on campus. She is very excited to bring her skills and knowledge to help execute this great event!

Juliet Baber

Director of Personnel

From Charlottesville VA, meet Juliet Baber! Also, a senior in the Hart School, Juliet loves Family Feud and is very excited to execute this event! This past summer, she did an internship with the Activities department at Massanutten Resort where she would get hands on experience working events such as arts & crafts classes, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and hikes! As another part of the internship program, Juliet started her own event at the resort called, “Teen Night at Massanutten Waterpark”, an event that ran for five weeks during the summer for teens to enjoy the waterpark at night with music, games, mocktails, and snacks. She is thrilled to continue to learn about event planning through this project and semester!

Morgan Gray

Director of Food and Beverage

Morgan is from Winchester, Virginia, and began her hospitality career in the restaurant industry. She has roughly 4 years of experience working at a family-owned Italian restaurant where she learned communication and leadership skills by training new employees. This past summer she worked as an Activities intern at Massanutten resort. During her time there she executed various types of events as well as participating in a management project and presentation. Morgan is also a member of the International Hospitality Management Honors Society, Eta Sigma Delta, at James Madison University. Morgan is excited to work with her fellow team members to execute “Family Feud Night!”

Julia Lensik

Director of Marketing

Julia is a senior Hospitality Management major. She is from Upper Saddle River, NJ and is so excited to be executing Family Feud night!  She interned at Marriott Vacation Club this past summer and learned so much about the hotel industry. She enjoyed her time learning about all aspects of the resort and especially enjoyed the Front Desk and Activities department! Julia is also involved in the Honors Society, Eta Sigma Delta at JMU and is looking forward to continuing her last semester in the Hart School!

Amanda Keenan

Director of Guest Communication

Originally born and raised in Northern Virginia, meet Amanda Keenan! A senior in the HART school at JMU, Amanda is very excited to participate in the facilitation our Family Feud event. With her current 5+ years of experience in the service industry, she has gained a lot of knowledge in serving large groups and events. This past summer, she did an internship through Massanutten Resort in the Recreation department, where she got a more hands on experience with facilitating large groups for recreational activities, inputting reservation information as well as communicating with guests. Amanda is thrilled to see the execution of this event while learning exciting new information about event planning.
